What coaches say

I was delighted to have taken part in the German FA coaching course, as it introduced a refreshing and comprehensive approach to player development that differs from what I’ve previously experienced.
Read the full reviewOne of the key takeaways was understanding the holistic structure and methodology used by the German FA, which emphasizes player-centered development as its core philosophy. The course highlighted the importance of designing game-realistic activities that replicate the demands and decisions players face in actual matches. This approach not only makes training more engaging but also significantly accelerates learning and performance on the field. It was insightful to compare this structure to the U.S. Soccer Federation's joint frameworks, as both organizations prioritize the individual player as the focal point for long-term growth. The FA’s emphasis on decision-making, autonomy, and understanding context within the game gave me a broader toolbox for guiding youth and senior players alike. Beyond the methodology, the course gave me increased confidence and practical tools to continue impacting players positively within my local community. I now feel better equipped to create meaningful, structured, and adaptable sessions that cater to a range of playing styles and development stages. Lastly, this course has inspired me to pursue UEFA licensing within this pathway. I’m excited to continue progressing as a coach and look forward to applying these principles in my ongoing coaching journey.

I can only say that I came away with a lot of knowledge and specific football information thanks to the TFV associate degree.
Read the full reviewPrior to being accepted to the UEFA B course I registered for the TFV and came a way with a lot of new learnings, the video content, teachers and assignments were engaging and interesting. The TFV course prepped me for the intensive UEFA B course in Germany, without the basic knowledge of the TFV course I don’t think I would have succeeded in passing my exams for the UEFA B. Even if you are an experienced soccer coach I guarantee you will come with away with having learned something new. I can only recommend Warubi for the professionalism and dedication to coaching development. The coaches from Thuringer Fußball Verband are experts in the field Of football

The German FA Coaching License (Associate Degree) had a lot of documentation, ressources and content learning. It was really interesting and worth the price!
Read the full reviewIt had theoritical modules and practical modules which is great, because at the end we are coaches and we need to deliver on and off the field! It was a good preparation for the UEFA B License course. A lot of content will be seen during the 2 intensive weeks for the UEFA B. So, I advice to take it seriously.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the course cost?

The course costs $495.00. Monthly payment plans are available to spread the cost - the plan total is slightly higher than the one-time price, and the exact figures are shown next to the payment buttons.

Why should I do the course?

Education, licenses, and network are key to a successful coaching career - this course gives you access to all three from home. Not every coach has the time or resources to attend the limited in-person UEFA courses. The course delivers virtual education in cooperation with the TFV in Germany, an official member association of the German Football Association (DFB). On completion you receive the TFV diploma and license.

Is this an official and acknowledged course?

Yes - the diploma and license are issued in cooperation with the Thuringian Football Association (TFV), one of the DFB's state member associations. It is not equivalent to the DFB/UEFA/TFV C or UEFA B license. Additional in-person modules and exams in Germany are required to obtain those licenses.

What is the TFV?

The TFV (German: Thüringer Fußball-Verband) is part of the Northeastern German Football Association and one of the state organizations under the German Football Association (German: Deutscher Fußball-Bund, DFB).

Will I receive credits for the UEFA C & B course?

For each of our DFB/UEFA/TFV coaching course spots, there are at least 50 applicants. We select and recommend coaches based on this course to the German Football Association (DFB). Graduating with this online license pre-qualifies you, but it does not guarantee a spot in the UEFA C or B license courses. Note: If selected for the UEFA/DFB/TFV C or B course, you will receive course credits toward your license fee and save approximately 26 hours of preparation time.

How many coaches can take the course?

Enrollment is open - there is no waiting list. Every module assignment is still reviewed individually by our German-licensed instructors.

How long does the course take to complete?

The course is self-paced: all modules are available from day one, and you set your own tempo. You receive your diploma and license certificate once all module assignments have been submitted and approved.

Do I need coaching experience?

The course includes content and assignments suitable for both beginners and advanced coaches.

Why is the course so affordable?

We partner with leading match-analysis and coaching tools that provide exclusive insights and teaching modules for the course. If a coach later chooses to use one of these tools professionally, we receive a commission. The course fee covers assignment review by our German-licensed instructors, platform operations, and issuing your diploma and license.

Are the courses open to coaches outside the USA?

Yes, the courses are open to coaches from anywhere.

Do you have other projects with the German FA?

Yes, in cooperation with the DFB Academy, we held three soccer camps in Florida, USA. We also assist in selecting candidates for the DFB/UEFA/TFV coaching licenses in collaboration with the Thuringian Football Association (TFV). Our community continues to grow - we have consulted for the DFB Academy, Hertha BSC Berlin, Hamburger SV, matchmetrics, and many other European and American professional clubs, players, coaches, colleges, and companies.
